Theory:

S-beam load cells, also known as S-type load cells, are force sensors that measure tension and compression. It is based on such a principle: the elastic body (elastic element, sensitive beam) is elastically deformed under the action of external force, so that the resistance strain gauge (conversion element) pasted on its surface is also deformed.
